The firm of Kunst and Albers of Hamburg

despatched to the Far East on the 22nd of September

last 50 cases of arms and ammunition on board the

steamer "Arragonia" of the Hamburg-America line,

and on the 17th ultimo 25 cases of arms and ammuni-

tion and 517 casks of shot on board the steamer

"Prinz Heinrich of the North German Lloyd.

The

goods are to go via Hongkong and the greater part

of them are for the Vladivostok branch of the firm

of Kunst and Albers. Only one chest of the con-

signment sent by the "Arragonia" is intended for the

Port Arthur branch of the firm.

As no suspicion attaches to the goods, the

Imperial Government have authorized their exporta-

tion on condition that they are addressed to the
